Choose the inventory unit

For purchase planning, the useful unit is a complete matching unopened kit. Record the exact range, shade, country and version. A tube from one box and an activator from another do not automatically form a complete kit. This prevents an inventory total from concealing unmatched components, missing instructions or an uncertain package condition.

State your own target

The stock planner asks for a user-chosen whole-kit target and a matching unopened stock count. If the target is4and verified stock is1,the arithmetic gap is3whole kits. That example does not recommend buying four or establish how often a person should color hair. It simply subtracts the two entered inventory counts while keeping the selected product identity visible.

Reset when the product changes

Changing from Natural Instincts5to Permanent Root Touch-Up5clears the stock confirmation in our tool. The shared number does not make the existing count transferable. The user must identify and count stock for the newly selected range. This small interaction prevents a plausible-looking result from being calculated with another product's inventory assumptions.

Do not inventory mixed product

The tool does not accept partial milliliters, opened remnants or mixed product as complete stock. It gives no storage instruction for leftovers and no permission to divide a kit for later sessions. The actual product label controls preparation and disposal information. If a component is damaged, unidentified or missing its instructions, leave it out of the confirmed whole-kit count until the issue is resolved appropriately.

Avoid inventing shelf life

This reference has not established a universal expiration period for sealed hair-color kits. Do not add a guessed number of months to a purchase date or infer usability from an attractive carton. Keep any actual manufacturer date or storage direction as written, and ask the manufacturer about unclear codes. A purchase date and a production code are different fields and should not be relabeled automatically.

Use the output for the order

The tool can calculate a merchandise estimate from the chosen gap and an actual entered kit price. It excludes unknown order charges and does not submit a purchase. Before ordering, inspect existing stock, verify the exact desired item and reread current listing conditions. A zero gap means only that the entered count meets the entered target;it is not a recommendation to use the stored products.

Use counts rather than a predicted calendar

The inventory target can come from a business or household purchasing choice, but the tool does not turn it into months of supply. It has no field for how often a person colors hair, and it does not infer an interval from an advertised duration. That prevents a stock forecast from becoming an individual-use recommendation. If the target changes from4to0,the output correctly becomes no additional kits needed;it does not instruct the user to discard or use existing stock. Any actual package condition or storage question remains a separate manufacturer-label question.
